As an important part of precision machine tools, in order to ensure the speed, accuracy and service life of the linear slide module, the linear module needs to be operated correctly to prevent abnormal wear. If the daily maintenance work is done well, the linear module can maintain good performance for a long time, prolong its service life, and find and eliminate hidden dangers in time. Especially when the linear module is not used for a long time, it is necessary to pay attention to the usual maintenance.
When the linear module is not used for a long time, if it is not carefully maintained, it will cause accuracy and speed degradation, shortened service life or other corrosion and rust failures if it is used suddenly. The usual maintenance includes the following aspects:
1. If the motor matching the linear module is a DC motor, when the DC motor is deactivated, the characteristics of the linear module should be to remove the brush from the DC motor to avoid chemical corrosion causing damage to the commutator, thereby reducing the commutation. The performance of the commutator, or even the performance of the linear module of the entire commutator, caused the linear module to fail to work properly.
2. In the rainy season or the environment with high relative humidity, the linear module should be energized regularly. When the motor is not running, that is, when the machine tool is locked, let it idle, and use the heating principle of electrical components to dissipate the moisture in the linear module to ensure the stability and reliability of its performance. In addition, the conventional power supply can guarantee the charging requirements of the backup battery, but the battery voltage should be checked frequently. If it is too low, it needs to be replaced immediately to prevent data loss caused by power outages.
3. For the disabled linear module, anti-rust oil and lubricant should be used regularly to prevent rust or corrosion, and to avoid failure during use.
Precision linear modules have very little frictional resistance, so they can move loads with very little driving force. The low friction resistance of the linear module material helps reduce the heating effect. Therefore, compared with the traditional sliding mode system, the friction resistance of the linear module is reduced, and the accuracy can be maintained for a long time.
